FALL COLORS OF BUCKS / WORKSHOP

Life in the world of close up photography is complex, fascinating and beautiful, and it is this world that participants will be exploring during this all day workshop on macro photography, and in close up world of color as nature gives us its changes. We will be spending a day learning about being in touch with your subject. We will briefly discuss the techniques of photography and then examine our opportunities for embedding artistry into our natural photography. A special focus will be on the importance of selecting backgrounds and lighting angles to create well-integrated images. We will go with our experienced instructor, to find lush sites in Bucks County, rich in opportunity and in the prime of the season.

There will be plenty of time to practice, create, learn and accomplish an understanding of making outstanding images. We will discuss what was captured and show techniques polished from master levels of photography and photoshop experience. The workshop will be focusing on what is often referred to as near macro or micro photography. For improved results, macro lenses are a plus but are not required. Close focusing telephotos are a definite plus. If your lens does not focus closely, some inexpensive extension tubes, are a great solution.

This event will be all day and result in each participant refining their works as to show. We will start with coffee at 8 a.m. - learn - shoot - eat a picnic lunch - shoot more - then head back to the studio to experience results and share our work learning and enjoying a days progress.
