ORGANIZING YOUR IMAGES
In the "old days" of the dark room there used to be file-cabinets filled with negatives and prints. Often the first step of producing images efficiently was organizing materials so the photographer could get in to their images quickly. That has all changed with the digital revolution.
Today's "digital storage" requires just as much organization and is just as daunting if not more so. Often the biggest hurdle in producing a good photograph is getting the image stored properly from the camera and to loaded into your editing software correctly to build a vast library of files.
In our 2 hour long workshop we will take participants through moving images from their camera, into the folder file structure and organization process on their computer. We will suggest the proper formats for saving finished image files for print, web, email and social networking. This workshop will teach you how to organize, save and store your images properly for both the retrieval and protection of your images. This two hours of learning to save you hundreds of hours of painful searching later on.
Participants will understand how to clearly follow order to retrieve images as well as protect their libraries
