PAINTING WITH LIGHT
The source of the "Photography" means "recording" or "writing" with light. But many photographers have called the process "painting with light". Capturing light and shadow to maximum dramatic effect is the essence of photography.
Good pictures start with understanding how light enhances ambience and compositional strength. In this course you will learn the basics of how light affects photographs and also how to use both studio and natural light to the best advantage for your images. See how times of day and different types of light affect the outcome for your pictures, as well as how to enhance and manipulate light from the shooting process all the way through the post production of photoshop. This is a hands on workshop and each week week will discuss how a type of light particular affects a subjects such as a person in the studio or a landscape with natural sunset lighting.
