STUDIO LIGHTING TECHNIQUES

In our professional studio, you'll learn to work with a compostion until it speaks. The correct use of camera position, choice of lens, lighting and stylizing all play a role in the constructing of studio photography.

Excellent studio photos are built, they don't just happen. Preparation is key to achieving a perfect final result. You will learn how to best prep and prop the subject, compose the shot and then light, with multiple lights at various angles to create the studio photograph.

You also will learn to set up and control the environment, choosing the props that will add to the final photograph. In the studio we will observe as a shot is created and share in its purpose. Props will be available and you will learn from the hands-on experience and demonstration of an ongoing capture of the image.

Objective: To use light, composition, and props in a controlled environment to create a still life image.
